I had the most enchanting experience at a historic property with original period furniture and charming hosts. The views over the valley were simply breathtaking and the location was perfect. Maison Bakea is truly one-of-a-kind and it felt like a privilege to stay in such a beautiful property. The attention to detail in the furnishings was exquisite and the hosts, Marie & Gilles, were warm and welcoming. They were always available to offer advice and suggestions without ever being intrusive. Breakfast was a delightful experience, whether enjoyed in the dining room or on the terrace. I also had the opportunity to have an evening meal prepared by Marie & Gilles, which was absolutely superb and truly an experience to treasure. My room had a stunning view of the valley and it was just a short walk to the upper old town. I can't think of anything that could have been better about my stay. Maison Bakea exceeded all my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and charming getaway.
